Architecture of Care2026
Made up of a steel table and two welded chairs that prevent anyone from sitting, the installation receives a few drops of water every day, released by a suspended reservoir onto the same point of its surface. The resulting corrosion makes visible the ambivalence of care: a gesture of upkeep that, repeated over time, becomes a form of alteration.

Phrases spoken at the table and handed down from one generation to the next, gathered from the residents of Santo Stefano di Sessanio, become a choral score. They let us hear what the table teaches: rules, speech, silence and each person’s place.
